Spring Core Extension was a smaller group of 11 students and we focused on the vector drawing app InkPad. We discussed Mo Willem's latest book, "Nanette's Baguette" and the style of illustration where model sets were created, photographed and then augmented with digital art. As a group we came up with a storyline that followed the format of Remy Charlip's classic "Unfortunately", but was at our school. We built five sets and then used Inkpad, Sketches Pro and Sketchbook Express to compile the storybook pages for our story. Here is a video created in iMovie from those images.
In Fall Core Extension ,students were challenged to create new animated drawings in DoInk Animation, each based upon a single word, an animated walking sequence, and putting together multiple clips into a new composition.
Here is a video showing all the students animated words compiled by myself in iMovie. You can click on it to view it larger. If I have missed adding your video, send me an email - williaRE2@pwcs.edu
. I am working on uploading more of the student videos to a channel labeled OBES Digital Arts in the Videos section of Microsoft Office, as this page isn't suited to inserting a lot of videos.
